Associate Attorney

José Caetano is from São Paulo, Brazil and enjoys going back as often as he can. He completed his undergraduate studies at Santa Clara University and is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder, Colorado. A former prosecutor and an immigrant himself to the U.S., he has a great understanding of the fears and concerns of being accused with criminal charges in this country. His unique expertise in immigration law and criminal law enable him to effectively represent immigrants in their immigration and criminal defense matters.

Furthermore, his practice also consists of providing legal advice regarding the immigration consequences of criminal convictions along with post-conviction relief in criminal cases. José practices throughout the state of Colorado, in its respective immigration, district, county, and municipal courts. His mission is to inform his clients and achieve the best possible outcomes for them. He is a native speaker of Portuguese and is fluent in Spanish. He enjoys taking advantage of all the wonderful outdoor activities Colorado has to offer including hiking, snowboarding, and kayaking. Like all good Brazilians, his love of football runs deep, and he is an avid supporter of the Brazilian national football team.
