Associate Attorney

Andrea joined Knudson & Associates with several years of dedication and experience in immigration law. Prior to working at Knudson & Associates, Andrea worked as an immigration attorney at a law firm in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Andrea immigrated to the United States from Ecuador and is a native Spanish-speaker.

She has six years of experience working in immigration, with her primary area of expertise being asylum-based removal defense. She first began working in immigration while in law school as a law clerk for the Catholic Immigration Law Project in St. Louis, Missouri, providing legal aid to low-income communities facing challenges in immigration. Aside from removal defense and affirmative asylum, Andrea also has extensive experience representing clients before the Board of Immigration Appeals. Andrea has dedicated her entire career to providing exceptional and compassionate legal assistance to the immigrant community. She understands how frustrating and confusing the immigration process can be and is glad she can lend a knowledgeable helping hand to her clients as they navigate the journey to their own American Dream.
